A very impressive sand castle Our prehistoric friend, the horseshoe crab, who is not a crab at all, but actually more closely related to a spider.This guy was quite large and let me walk very close to him. Fall is the best time for beach combing.A cormorant resting on the beach. Some of my finds from a 5 mile beach walk. No place like home!
